Description
Designed to optimize airflow and heat exchange, the Mishimoto WRX Front-Mount Intercooler Kit maximizes horsepower and torque. The 28" intercooler core is engineered to reduce pressure drop to preserve the life of your turbocharger. Smooth cast end tanks are CFD tested for optimal airflow with no sharp walls or bends. Four mandrel-bent aluminum pipes offer high-velocity airflow with no throttle lag and CNC-machined flanges. The hot-side pipe is 2.25" while the cold side is 2.5" to 2.75". The application-specific crash bar for ease of installation requires no cutting or drilling. Couplers and clamps for clean installation are included, as well as a new air intake bracket. Tested on a 265whp WRX, the intercooler works in tandem with the Mishimoto air intake.
